Hey there

I’ve had a hard time writing “about me” pages for as long as I’ve been on the internet. Writing my first “about me” on MySpace was hard enough, but I doubt whatever I had for that would be true about me now.

My name is Cailee Delana Cunningham. I’m an artist born and raised in Southeast Idaho. Idaho is as much a part of me as my art. I could survive off of potatoes alone and that is not a joke, I am so incredibly serious about potatoes. But I digress, as much as I love dear Idaho, I recently moved to Washington State.

I graduated from Idaho State University in December of 2018 with a Bachelor’s of Art and a Bachelor’s of Mass Communication with an emphasis in Design. To put a long story short, I’m an artist and a graphic designer, and I’ve finally got the papers to prove it. I’m currently working on finishing my Master’s degree in Communications with ISU.

When I’m not creating, I’m usually writing, reading, or playing video games. I love finding inspiration in art of all forms, including body arts, comic books, architecture, and installations. Art is more than what we can put in a museum and I do my best to find art in the least expected places.

Stories are such an important aspect of my life. I love hearing other people’s stories and I just love hearing people talk about themselves. I reflect that in my art, as I try to focus on real individuals, their experiences, and shared emotions across the spectrum.
